The HYLT Program was launched in 1992 by our good friend, and neighborhood/community icon, Chris Johnson who has probably been your bartender at some point at one of the many watering holes in Park Slope. On December 13, a benefit show will be held at Southpaw to help relaunch HYLT. HYLT?s vision is to build a high quality youth service program that provides arts, athletic, academic, and cultural and social awareness programming for young people in Brooklyn through Tutorial and Academic Enhancement Services, a Mentoring Program, Travel Study, Internships, Arts Appreciation and classes as well as team sports. So, get into the Holiday giving spirit with us and come see an amazing show that benefits such a worth cause for Brooklyn. A terrific way to start the 12 Days of Christmas!
